Am planning on rejetting 3 magnas in a couple weeks and want to replace the float bowl screws with allen head cap screws.  Anyone know what size these are?  I tried searching the forum, but came up with nothing.

A little online research seems to indicate that it may be difficult to find a allen-headed screw in the correct shape to replace ...

3rd Gen appears to be 5mm x 16mm.

I change mine all the time when rebuilding. Do not overtighten!

I would go with Stainless Steel and put just a bit of Anti-Seize on the threads (Dissimilar metals).. But that's just me..

Right on with the stainless fasteners. That's what I always use. The lube is important due to galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals.

Thanks for the replies.  I was an Evanston engineer for 25 years and an very familiar with galvanic corrosion.  Now to see where I can find some.
