I have located a set of Jardine Megaphones for sale & I would like some input from the Mootsters before I buy them.  I know the Jardine drags are very loud & I would imagine that the megs would be quieter & more mellow due to their larger size.  If anyone has a sound clip that would be great or if you can describe the sound compared to different pipes that would be great also.  I have stock pipes with the baffles removed but would like some better sounding aftermarket pipes.   I would also like to hear some sound clips of other pipes if anyone has them.
Thanks,
KT

I had a set of Jardine Megs when I bought my bike and I LOVED them.  They were not obnoxiously loud like drags but rather had a deeper rumble.  Now, when you really cranked on it they would get loud but I always thought they sounded great.  Had I not ruined them when I wrecked in 2003 I would still have them.

When your riding partner who is running those Jardines screams past you at warp speed and ten grand, they'll scare the crap outta ya (thanks Jimmy). he he he!!!

Hey Jimmy, speaking of your riding style, have you unwound any more tensioner lately.  :(  Since your old one is still performing flawlessly I might have to agree with some of the guys, it may have had something to do with those muscle spasms in your right hand  8) ! Kidding a side, Hope your not having any more trouble..

I always thought I really rode no harder than anybody else but considering the number of tensioners I have gone through I'm starting to think you're right Charles

Yes. I'm carrying my spare tensioner with me whenever I travel now. I took it with me to the track this past weekend too, just in case I pulled a Jimmy.  :D
