I installed the Electrical Connection kit on my Magna about 6 months ago and am very happy with it.  This kit, along with the Billski taillight mod, shortened turn signal stalks, and clear lenses clean up the back end of the Magna quite nicely, IMHO that is.

I had the smoked lenses for quite some time, but decided that I liked the look of the clear lenses better on a black Magna then the smoked ones.  Personal preference is all.  The smoked lenses and the amber bulb tended to look orange, and the smoked lense tended to dim the light some.  Nothing truely significant, but enough for me to change them out.

Good info.  Do you remember where you found your clear lenses?

Is that tailight mod the one in the Tips/Tech section.

I bought the smoked lense from either Cruisercustomizing or PhatPerformance.  They were the cheapest I found at the time (like $15 before shipping...).  After I decided I wanted to change to the clears, I posted a message on one of the other Magna sites to see if anyone wanted to trade, someone did, so we traded.

For the Billski taillight, check out www.billski182.com.  He will also sell you just the tail light/licanse plate if you want to mount some other tail light.

If you want to shorten the turn signal stalks, then check out the MRA site, or you can use the following with a couple of modifications (you need to drill the fendor mount hole larger/deeper, then tap it to the right thread size).

No need to drill the fender large, Cobra used to at least I think still available, made a turn signal relocation kit.
There is a write up on the MOOT site tips and tricks page..

Whoops, I didn't intend to mean drill the fendor itself.  I meant drill the J&P Cobra signal mounts such that they can be tapped to the proper Magna mount bolt size.

Also, Cobra doesn't make a direct replacement mount for the Magna any longer.  That's why I referenced the J&P Cobra plugs that can be modified.
