Hey Fellas, I've got a 94 Magna which I purchased over a year ago.  The bike has 25k miles and has been parked in my garage since Oct 06 until Apr this year when I decided it was warm enough to ride.  The bike was running well when it was parked, but now it seems to backfire and hesitate each time I take it out.  The spark plugs were fouled, so I replaced them, used fresh fuel and added some Sea Foam to my tank.  I ran the bike for about 35 - 40 miles on the new plugs and ran just fine, but then it started to backfire and hesitate again.  I checked the plugs and again were fouled (black not oily) I checked the air filter and it was also clean.  Not sure what to check next or just take it to a mechanic shop??

Were you riding with the choke pulled out for longer than about 30-45 seconds??
It is a incorrectly called a choke, it is actually an enrichment valve so richens the fuel quite a bit.
If you let a Magna sit without being fire up and brought to operating temps at least every week to 10 days the slow speed jets will get clogged.  The orifice is very small and the surface tension of the fuel is great enough it will not drain out, so therefore it drys up and clogs the little sucker.
Not necissary to take it to a shop, I have a write up on the TIPs and TRICKs page on the main MOOT site http://www.magnaownersoftexas.org/tips.htm#A1.31 if you can turn a wrench you can accomplish curing your problem.
