Valkyrie oil change

Gonna change the oil in uncle's valkyrie tonight.... how much oil will it take with oil filter change... anyone know (curtis,greg)??? Getting bike ready for MOOTmag...  Thanks Lance

Going from memory it's 4.2 quarts or some oddball number like that.  Get five, put four in and then fill to the mark (bike level and stick not threaded in).

Maintenance Manual states 3.9 qts for oil and filter change
4.5 qts for disassembly.
I just put in the 4 qts and check stick as Curtis suggests.
