Can anyone shed some light on LED setup?

Well, I feared the worst, but it has happened . . . that is right, one of my blinkers went out.  And being that my wife noticed it, and because she is concerned for my safety, I need to get it fixed ASAP.

And thus the door is open for new lights.  Seriously, I have been mulling it over the idea of converting to LEDS for a while, and now I think I am ready.  However, there are a few questions I have . . .

Which equalizer do I need?  
Do I need single filament or dual filament LEDs?
Are there any other factors I need to consider?

LED bulbs are available for 1156 &1157 running light/signal bulbs.Just remove burned out one and pluck in new one.I'm sure i've seen them in competitionaccessories.com    Also replace the amber lenses w/clear lenses for max. brightness.
