UPDATE....

I installed the 110 mains and the 42 pilot's last night.  Flipped the carbs over and removed 1 shim from each needle.

Now my current set-up is 110 mains, 2 total shims, 42 pilot's with 3-1/8 turns out on each  D screw.   k/n filter with vance and hines exhaust.

My bike now is very strong, alot better on the bottom end, no more decel pop, gone.

The bike pulls very hard now all the way to redline.  No dead spots, spot on. I also think the 110 mains helped with the total carburation as well.   I am very happy with this set-up, I highly recommend this if you have the vance and hines exhaust!!

That is great to hear!

You are getting me itchy to do some myself, I think 3 1/8 is too far out with 42 pilots but that's a gut feeling and Greg has experience with those (better to go with experience).

I need to get this posted on the Carburetor thread.

There SHOULD be a slight bit of decel pop or its too rich on the bottom end.  I would close down the pilot screws 2 7/8..
