it confirms what I was concerned about...close clearance to existing turn signals.
It looks like the existing turn signal lens just clears the body of the silver bullets back-case in your pic (with silver bullet lamps mounted above turn signals)

But I've got a National windshield, and the mounting brackets for that are in that space above the turn signals...
There is a little remaining space below the turn signals ...but when the front wheel is turned,  the corner of the radiator tucks up into that lower space....

tight fit all round

Anybody have a 3rd gen with a National windshield, with large silver bullet lamps added?
wondering if a light bar is needed...

Todd told me the silver bullets would not go below the turn signals with those mounts because they kept hitting the tank or the radiator when you turn the handlebars.

Tom Duffy has some different lights that mount way down on the forks, but I don't know what kind they are.
