I just recently heard about some high performance engine parts available for a 3rd Gen. VF750C engine.

Has anyone else tried these?  Any success?

I don't know if this helps but on the main MOOT page ( not forum page) http://www.magnaownersoftexas.com/wheretofind.htm
Almost forgot Terry.  I was very happy with his performance clutch plates and brake pads.

If anyone does, it's Dave Dodge...
Since he moved (to Arizona I think) He has been pretty low profile (Website doesn't exist other than the name)...
Someone might have his new phone number..

Yes, Dave Dodge.  I have personally talked to this man, super person.  He specializes in older magna stuff (V65), but does do stuff for the 3rd gen.   Would be awesome to put an 1100cc engine into a 3rd gen magna.  Fun, fun. 8)

Shaft drive to chain?
You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

Is it possible to change a 3rd gen Magna from chain to shaft?  Is that desirable?

Has anyone tried to set up a 3rd gen Magna with DUAL disk brakes up front?

And what is the best recommendation on fixing the springs in the front end? ...Prgresive springs, I know, but which ones?

If you spend enough time and money you can do just about anything.
I don't think anyone has put a V65 in a 3rd gen YET. You could be the first.
The V65 will and has been put in a Magna Super (2nd Gen).  If I had time and money I would like to do that project.

1. Not within reason

2. A board member has modified his brakes and I think they are dual disk, I don't know how to locate his bike or thread. If we could locate his bike build thread that would be a great start for you.

3. Progressive as you mentioned and I only know of one that fits the front, I think they are 11-1126, adjust your spacer for a stronger or weaker feel. What is wrong with your front end?

My front end is WAY too soft, dives 6 to 8 inches if I GRAB the front brake!...   and lifts on hard acceleration!

This is what put me in a pile of sand/gravel last month, thanks to some jack-wagon passing me on the inside of a curve and forcing me wide...  to avoid having my leg ripped off!  (bastard!)

Which Progressive springs???  Is it the ONLY ones that fit that I should get?

Also, I've changed the rear shocks for VTX shocks, but are the Progressives better?

Thanks,
James
