Well wobbles are no fun I was out on the Valk coming back from doing the rear rotor and decided to have a little fun with a Corvette LOL well when I hit about 120mph I got a speed wobble from hell it was not FUN had to get out of the gas and let her come down and finally got her under control WHEW do NOT want to do that again LOL

Me and several Valk riders have experience that.  Funny kind of wobble, very low frequency.  Definitely rider exascerbated because letting go of the handlbars settles it somewhat.  I think it is the handlebar mounted fairing and windshield that gets it started.  Put a cooler carrier on a receiver hitch and experience it at 90 instead of 120.  Ask me how I know!!

No need for a reason other than the journey.

So is this just on the Interstates? I have never had any problem with wobble or shimmy, I'm not sure exactly how fast I've gone, but 130 is as fast as I've been able to go and still look at the speedometer :D. I have a top end limiter but it's no where on the bike, it seems to be somewhere between my brain and my right hand :???:.

If you figure out that it's something besides handlebar mounted fairing let me know so I can be sure and avoid the problem.

My brothers Ultra would do the same thing with his handlebar mounted batwing.

The fairing acts just like a big wing..  Fast enough and it creates lift.

Yeah well I guess you could call it low freq it was not a rapid Tank Slap just a slow push back and forth but the handle bars were going pretty good from one side to the other. Could be the Fairing not perfectly square it was bad enough I got off the gas and started for the side of the road while I let the gas of   but after she slowed down on her own accord she was fine !!!

That's it and his would do it at 95 MPH, I knew it and rode the bike to see what he was talking about. I would like to have something where that were not an issue, a friend of mine and I were racing when at 125 his Harley did the shakes in a Bad way, I thought we were both doomed.

There is an easy fix for that problem, keep it under a 100mph, problem solved.

I can't get my bike up to 100 mph.   There is always a corner or switch back I have to negotiate before that time.    8-)
