Most 40-50's  y/o's I've ridden with on group rides usually

A) Don't go past the speed limit
B) Wear a lot of gear (especially reflective stuff)
C) Must stop every 100 miles to eat at some crappy little restaurant off the turn pike.

You're a rare bunch if you actually push your bikes!

UUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH, might want to watch out talking about "C".  This group seems to have a hard time passing up ANY restaurant.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Yeah, we can pass anything on the road -- except a barbeque joint or pie place!!

You need to move south, you can lead and be the scout so when we come passing through we know you have all the LEO's occupied.   8-)

Don't mistake our occasionally cracking open the throttle on a long open stretch of road for reckless abandon. Most of us are almost law abiding citizens. Keep in mind that we live in Texas where you can ride for miles and miles and see nothing but miles and miles 8). Once in a while we're even known to stretch the truth, just a little  my 130 mph my have actually only been 128 mph but hey it's my story and I'm sticking to it 8) 8)..

that's true.  Maryland is a populated state.  In my region, you can't find anyplace where there's 2 miles where you can just find no one.

I could be riding on the flippin moon, and the second I hit the speed limit +10, there'd be an LEO hiding in the next crater.
I'd rather be outside than in.

Damn Yankee

If you need to crack the throttle, feel free to open 'er up on I-696 in metro Detroit. Four lanes, no waiting. Not many LEOs, but every sooften they'll  be hiding on the entrance ramps in the concrete canyon. Lotsa curves, a few straightaways and twisties. You'll be doing 80 and be passed like you're standing still. A great way to wake up going to work at 4 in the morning.

that is my daily commute here in Houston too.

I have experienced some shakes the last 2 days.  It has only happened at low speed, when I take my right hand off the bars slowing down for a light.  I am checking the air pressure and stuff this evening as I have not ridden much in the last 6 weeks.  Weather here in Houston has been nice (cool) the last two mornings though.  FINALLY

Not me! I'm still riding illlegal, at least for now. What a pain to get your licence.
Been riding with my permit for 3 years. i know about the changes on Texas law and I tried to go legal but you couldn't buy an appointment at any DPS office in a 50mile radius of my house and all MSF classes are now booked a month in advance.
3 years of riding and 20K+ miles and I still need to to do a "basic" course. lol. just my luck!
I'll be sitting in a class with a bunch of folks listening to " This is a throttle, This a brake, a motorcycle has to lean"
Once you go dark you dont want to park!
